Overview
One Voice AI is XAPPmedia's platform for building and maintaining smart assistant voice applications. When looking at how to make a skill (Alexa application) better, user metrics play a very important role.
Accessing these analytics on the platform is very straightforward, and can be highly enlightening in terms of how listeners engage with the skill and user retention.
Follow these steps to view and understand your organization-wide analytics, as well as your app-specific analytics:
Organization Analytics
Your organization in One Voice AI houses all of your affiliated skills. This is what it looks like once you have logged into go.xappmedia.com.
From here you have a few options. To see your analytics for your entire organization (all your skills' analytics combined), click the red "View Analytics" button. Once clicked, below is what you will see.
The categories in the data are: New Users (devices that are interacting with the skill for the first time), Returning Users (devices that have interacted with the skill before that are using the skill again), Total Users (the total number of devices that have interacted with the skill), and Average Sessions Per User (the average number of times a device interacts with the skill). Organization-wide analytics can currently handle two-week time ranges, due to the amount of data. Hovering over each data point in the graph will show the data per day, which is helpful in showing trends and user retention.
Once you are finished with the organization-wide analytics, click over to your "Apps" (in the upper left) to view your skills. Click a skill to explore its analytics.
Once in the skill, just like the organization-wide metrics, you will be greeted with a 7-day overview. Click on the red "View Analytics" button to go more in-depth.
This data is represented in the same ways the organization-wide data is. The difference is that it is skill-specific, and can go back as far as 3 months.
